Well there was a potential there for a while but he has decided to go with another girl 13 years younger, also shorter and heavier. But never mind I think she was there at a time he needed someone to lean on. Best of luck to them.
I are now thinking abut doing the speed dating thing? Has anyone done it? Has anyone had success or major failures from doing speed dating?

Where have all the good men gone?

Hey all,
I am new to this blogging stuff but at the point where I will try new ideas, (please send them).
I am a lady in her late 30's who is obviously looking in all the wrong places to find Mr Right; does he still exist?
I am not bad looking, enjoy going to the gym and working out, are average height and have a healthy out look on life. I am educated - in fact have gone back to Uni to expand my knowledge and are working part time to keep the student loan to a manageable level.
I love to live life to the full and love a good night out with friends and family. The greatest love of my life is travel - have not been away for a while but had a short trip planned for the end of the year. Looking forward to it.
The thing that is missing in my life at the moment is a man that has some character, lives in the same city as me and does not play games or has a love affair with his boat, bike, car, or other boys toys in his life; that are more important then the female in his life. As someone I know said once, ' he can't screw his boy's toy's can he'.
I am looking for hints, or stories from people on the troubles they are having in finding the perfect match, or stories from people who have found the perfect match. See they are still out there, right?
I will up date the blog with how things are going on my end in the search for the perfect man and various methods I have tried.
